Turbovaps can custom‑manufacture steam‑boosting compressors to meet specific customer requirements. To date, it has a proven track record across a wide range of applications, with inlet pressures as low as 6 kPa absolute (corresponding to saturated water vapor at 37°C) and outlet pressures up to 1,500 kPa absolute (saturated water vapor at 200°C). These units are ideally suited for situations where plant steam supply pressure is insufficient or when low‑pressure by‑product steam cannot be utilized. Typically, for every doubling of steam pressure (absolute), power consumption increases by approximately 40 kWh; in most operating conditions, the investment can be recouped relatively quickly.
