Product Details
MVR Plate Evaporator

Working principle:
The MVR plate evaporator consists of a plate heat exchanger, a separator, and a material pump. Under the guidance of a distributor, the feed is evenly distributed into the plate pack, ensuring that no individual plate experiences dry‑wall conditions. The evaporator can be configured as a rising‑film, falling‑film, or forced‑circulation type. The secondary steam within the vapor‑liquid separator is purified by a separation and demisting device at the top of the separator before being sent to the compressor. The compressor then compresses the secondary steam and delivers it to the shell side of the heat exchanger, where it serves as the heating steam for the evaporator, thereby establishing a closed‑loop thermal cycle for continuous evaporation.
Features:
1. Compact footprint; easy installation and maintenance.
2. The plates are detachable, making expansion easy;
3. High heat transfer coefficient and relatively small heating surface area;
4. Low equipment investment.
The MVR plate evaporator is used for concentrating materials and pre-concentrating salts for crystallization. It is suitable for evaporating materials that are free of particles, do not readily form scale, and have low viscosity, and is particularly well suited for heat-sensitive materials.
MVR Tubular Forced-Circulation Evaporator

Working principle:
The MVR forced-circulation evaporator consists of a heater, a separator, and a forced‑circulation pump. The feed is heated in the heater’s heat exchange tubes by steam flowing outside the tubes, causing its temperature to rise. Under the action of the circulation pump, the feed rises into the separator, where a drop in hydrostatic pressure induces evaporation. The resulting secondary steam escapes from the liquid, while the concentrated feed becomes supersaturated, promoting crystal growth. The supersaturated stream then returns to the forced‑circulation pump; driven by the pump, it is recirculated back to the heat exchanger, enabling continuous evaporation and concentration or concentration‑crystallization. The crystalline slurry is discharged from the circulation loop using a discharge pump. The secondary steam exiting the separator is purified by a separation and demisting device located at the top of the separator before being sent to the compressor. The compressor compresses the secondary steam and delivers it to the shell side of the heat exchanger as heating steam for the evaporator, thereby establishing a closed-loop thermal cycle for continuous evaporation.
Features:
1. Suitable for materials with high viscosity or those containing particles;
2. High concentration ratio;
3. Large circulation volume and high pipeline flow velocity prevent dry‑walling and scaling.
4. Compared with falling-film evaporators, it has higher energy consumption.
The MVR forced-circulation evaporator is suitable for the evaporation and concentration of materials or the evaporation and crystallization of salt solutions.
MVR Tubular Film Evaporator

Working principle:
After being preheated, the feed is introduced at the upper end of the heat exchange tubes. A liquid distributor then evenly distributes the feed into each tube, forming a uniform liquid film along the inner wall. As this liquid film flows downward, it is heated by the heating steam in the shell side, boiling and evaporating concurrently. At the bottom of the tubes, the feed is converted into concentrated liquid and secondary steam. The concentrated liquid exits into the lower header, while the secondary steam enters the vapor–liquid separator. In the separator, liquid droplets entrained in the secondary steam are removed, and the purified secondary steam is discharged to the compressor. The compressor compresses the secondary steam and delivers it as heating steam to the shell side of the heat exchanger, serving as the evaporator’s heat source and enabling continuous evaporation.
Features:
1. In a once-through evaporator, the solution flows in the form of a thin film, resulting in a relatively high heat transfer coefficient.
2. Small footprint;
3. For heat-sensitive materials, a single-pass process can be employed, resulting in a short residence time and minimizing the risk of product degradation.
4. Low energy consumption;
5. It has low liquid retention and is easy to automate for cleaning.
The MVR falling-film evaporator is suitable for concentrating materials and for the pre-concentration of salt crystallization. It is well suited for evaporating feedstocks that are free of particulates, do not readily form scale, and have low viscosity, and is particularly ideal for heat‑sensitive materials.
