MVR Retrofit of Turbovap Compressors for Multi-Effect Evaporation

Recently, a batch of centrifugal steam compressors manufactured by Turbovap has been successfully deployed in multi‑effect and four‑effect evaporator retrofit projects across Zhejiang, Shandong, Jiangsu, and other regions. Without altering the original main process flows of these evaporators, the upgrade can be accomplished simply by adding an appropriately sized centrifugal steam compressor and making minor modifications to the piping, enabling users to transition from multi‑effect evaporation to MVR evaporation with minimal capital investment. Leveraging the Group’s more than 20 years of experience in chemical production, Turbovap is able to provide customers with detailed theoretical calculations and extensive commissioning expertise for converting multi‑effect evaporators into MVR systems, ensuring a successful, one‑time retrofit.
