Since its establishment, Turbovap has received numerous scientific research honors and government awards in the R&D and production of energy-saving and environmentally friendly products, particularly mechanical vapor recompression (MVR) equipment. From the very beginning, Dr. Zhong Litao, a returned overseas scholar and one of the company’s founders, along with his team, was recognized as part of the third batch of Changzhou City’s leading entrepreneurial projects for overseas returnees, owing to their mastery of core MVR technologies. Notably, Dr. Zhong’s “Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR) Evaporator” project was given priority recommendation and received financial support and awards from both the Changzhou Municipal Government and the Liyang Municipal Government. In February 2010, Dr. Zhong Litao and his team were awarded the “Jiangsu Province High-Level Innovation…” designation.

Notably, Dr. Zhong’s “Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR) Evaporator” project was given priority recommendation and was awarded funding and incentives by both the Changzhou Municipal Government and the Liyang Municipal Government. In February 2010, Dr. Zhong and his team were honored under Jiangsu Province’s High-Level Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talent Introduction Program, and in May of the same year, they received the Changzhou Municipal Government’s “Overseas Returnee Entrepreneurial Talent Award.”

 

　　The year 2010 was a highly successful one for Turbovap. The company achieved numerous breakthroughs in the research, development, and production of single-stage centrifugal steam recompression units—the core equipment of MVR technology. Its products were awarded the “High-Tech Product” designation by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology and also received funding from the Ministry of Science and Technology’s “Technology-Based SME Innovation Fund.” To strengthen its R&D capabilities and broaden its horizons to stay abreast of cutting-edge technological trends, the company established industry–university–research collaborations with prestigious institutions such as Xi’an Jiaotong University and Hunan University. In September 2010, with strong support from the provincial science and technology authorities, the Jiangsu Province Infrastructure Program—“Jiangsu Provincial Enterprise Academician Workstation”—was successfully established at Turbovap, inviting Academician Wen Bangchun, a leading expert in mechanical dynamics and construction machinery as well as a distinguished educator in mechanics, to provide guidance and oversight.

 

　　The honors and awards we have received over the past few years on our entrepreneurial journey serve as both encouragement and motivation, reinforcing our core philosophy of “technological innovation.” They have further strengthened our corporate management principle of “technology first, quality paramount, customers above all.”
