Since its establishment, Turbovap has received numerous scientific research honors and government awards in the R&D and production of energy-saving and environmentally friendly products, particularly mechanical vapor recompression (MVR) equipment. From the very beginning, Dr. Zhong Litao, a returned overseas scholar and one of the company’s founders, along with his team, was recognized as part of the third batch of Changzhou City’s leading entrepreneurial projects for overseas returnees, owing to their mastery of core MVR technologies. Notably, Dr. Zhong’s “Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR) Evaporator” project was given priority recommendation and received financial support and awards from both the Changzhou Municipal Government and the Liyang Municipal Government. In February 2010, Dr. Zhong Litao and his team were awarded the “Jiangsu Province High-Level Innovation…” designation.

The bio‑fermentation industry has long been the primary market for conventional evaporators, yet it is also a major consumer of energy and a significant emitter of various industrial pollutants—precisely the areas where MVR evaporators can excel. To enhance both the equipment and environmental performance of China’s bio‑fermentation sector and to raise the overall technological standards of the industry, the China Bio‑Fermentation Industry Association established the “Equipment and Environmental Protection Branch” in February 2012. The creation of this branch will drive technological upgrades and modernization across the entire bio‑fermentation industry in the fields of energy conservation and environmental protection, providing fresh impetus for the wider adoption and promotion of advanced MVR evaporation technology within the sector.

China Biofermentation Products and High-Tech Equipment Exhibition
The 2012 China International Light Industry Consumer Goods Exhibition will be held from July 12 to 15, 2012, at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing. Hosted by the China National Light Industry Council and organized by the China Biofermentation Industry Association, the event covers a total area of 36,000 square meters, encompassing multiple sectors within the light industry, including biofermentation, brewing, baking, beverages, dairy products, ceramics and glass, and fragrances and cosmetics. A dedicated “Biofermentation Products and Advanced Technology Equipment Pavilion” has been specially established at this exhibition, providing a platform for the fermentation industry and related sectors to engage in technological exchange, foster collaboration, expand upstream–downstream trade, and enhance brand visibility and corporate reputation.
